We are beyond proud to share with you that we have been awarded winners of the ‘Outstanding Engagement in the Community’ category at the recent Independent Schools Association awards. Headmaster, Mr Thomas Muskin was in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the school and the students involved.

This was in recognition of the incredible work that our Global Ambassadors, alongside former Head Student Jack Bott and Mr George, have pulled together with their county-wide initiative of the ‘For Students By Students’ conference. Now in its 3rd year, schools are brought together from across Northampton to discuss the topics important to them and hear from a diverse range of guest speakers. Previous chosen topics included county lines and harmful sexual behaviours, with next year focusing on mental health.

The judge’s comments were as follows:

“Very impressive, passion-driven project to tackle knife crime and county lines in Northampton. Pupils at Quinton House reached out to all local schools, the University and Police to organise a series of awareness raising events that aim to help the local community regain control of local streets. This project shows the power every independent school can have to make a difference in their local community.”
