Nursery and Preschool

A supportive and friendly environment.

We welcome children from the age of 3 years into our happy and homely nursery setting which is the first entry point into our Preparatory School. The Nursery and Preschool is housed within the Preparatory School building and has full access to all our school facilities, including our amazing grounds and Forest School.

We have a very simple vision – to help every child thrive. We love to inspire our students to explore their creativity through everything that they do. We nurture their talents and encourage their characters to develop throughout their time with us.

The learning process in our nursery is carefully embedded into every session and by the time our Preschool children move on into Reception class, they have a true love of learning.

Quinton House is an exceptional learning environment for Early Years. The space, resources and facilities are vast, high quality and encourage an excitement to learn.

A DAY AT NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL

All sessions include time for child led exploration and play, adult-led activities and group focus activities. Our group focus activities introduce the children to many areas of learning and topics, the children take part in a number of phonics and numeracy activities throughout the week.

Each session incorporates a blend of communication and language development, social and emotional development and physical development. Sessions incorporate a wide range of activities and experiences, which change on a daily basis.

With a snack break in the morning session and tea in the afternoon session, children have time to relax and socialise together. Children also have a nutritious lunch that has been prepared by our talented onsite catering team.

With the option to join us either full time or part-time, you can choose from sessions that run from 8am-1pm, 8am-4pm or 8am-6pm as well as afternoon sessions running from 1pm until 4pm or 6pm.
