A message from our Headmaster Mr. Muskin.
“The sun shone on our Year 11 students this morning as they collected their hard-earned GCSE results. The school was a buzz with smiles and laughter as our tenacious Year 11’s revelled in their accomplishments. We are so proud of this year group and the journey they have been on.
They are an amazing bunch who are aspirational, making me feel that the future is in good hands. I hope that they see their results as a moment in time to enjoy and the start of the next exciting academic journey into A-level study or college.
I would like to mention Mihr K who achieved nine grade 9’s which includes a 9 for Further Mathematics and one grade 8 alongside being a magnificent leader in school and digital ambassador. He even managed to use the time after his GCSE examinations to raise money for the @northamptonhope organising a sleep out for all QHS students.
Isabelle W achieved seven grade 9’s including a grade 9 in Further Mathematics, one grade 8 and two grade 6’s. We are excited to see how Isabelle flourishes as she takes on Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology as we support her journey to university.
Ryan A achieved four grade 9’s, three grade 8’s, one 7 and a 6 and he will remain with us to study Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. He has his sights on a career in law and we will be looking forward to setting up a work experience placement for the two years of A-level study to support his application.
Marni W achieved four grade 9’s, three grade 8’s and two 7’s. Marni is incredibly talented and a wonderful character to have in school.
I could not be prouder of our Year 11’s and I am so pleased that many have decided to stay and continue their journey into the Sixth Form and those that leave us today we wish them the very best of luck and welcome them back at any time!”
